About The port
Built around the oldest existing port along Saudi Arabia's west coast and Muslim pilgrims' second most important point of entry to the Kingdom, the modern-day Yanbu Commercial Port was opened in 1965, during the reign of the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Located about halfway between Jeddah Islamic Port and King Fahad Industrial Port to the south and Dhuba Port to the north, Yanbu Commercial Port is strategically located to serve the local economies of Saudi Arabia's Madina and Qassim regions, two of the Kingdom's most promising trade centers.
