About The port
King Fahad Industrial Port in Jubail is the largest industrial port in the Middle East. The port is the gateway to and from the world's largest petrochemical complex. Inaugurated by the late King Fahad bin Abdulaziz in 1982, King Fahad Industrial Port was specifically designed to handle imports of the raw materials needed for local industries and exports of petrochemicals, refined petroleum products, chemical fertilizers, and sulfur, among other materials, as the Kingdom was quickly and steadily becoming a force to be reckoned with on the global oil and gas arena.
